LUA [ VaNa ]
The hand that offered Excalibur. The waters that call it home.

  • Natural Spatial Expansion: The soundstage opens effortlessly and unforced. Imaging remains relaxed yet defined, forming a wide, breathable space that surrounds rather than projects.

  • Organic Low-End Grounding: Bass extends with restrained weight, favoring texture and continuity over emphasis, anchoring the presentation without drawing focus.

  • Lyrical Midrange Presence: Vocals and instruments retain natural timbre and soft clarity. The midrange stays intimate yet unpushed, expressive without forwardness.

  • Subtle Air & Treble Ease: High frequencies extend gently, adding air rather than brightness. Detail remains present but softened, allowing natural decay and ease.

  • Listening Intent: Immersion over analysis. For long-form listening where space, calm, and emotional continuity outweigh scrutiny.

LUA VaNa: Lady of the Lake

THE WATERS THAT REMEMBER

In the old Arthurian legend, there is a presence who does not rule, yet shapes the fate of kings: the Lady of the Lake.

From still waters and ancient woods, she emerged to offer King Arthur the sword Excalibur — a symbol of rightful power, entrusted rather than possessed.

In time, the waters would call the blade home once more. Not lost, but received — as though it had always belonged there. Between these moments lies a quiet truth: that power, in its purest form, is never truly held, only entrusted and released.

Some say the Lady had no name. Others believe it was simply forgotten. But in quieter tellings, she is remembered as VaNa — from an ancient word meaning "forest," where still waters and ancient woods exist as one, inseparable and enduring.

She remains there still — not as ruler or keeper, but as part of the lake itself.
Calm, present, unbroken within her domain.

"The hand that offered Excalibur.

The waters that call it home."

-Zephon Wing, CEO, R&W

The second chapter in LUA's Storyline series, VaNa draws from the quiet presence of the Lady of the Lake — one who bestows destiny, yet remains bound to still waters and ancient woods.

Developed in collaboration with Xone Audio and refined under LUA’s narrative tuning philosophy, VaNa’s voice does not demand attention, but stays with you long after.  That same restraint extends into its construction, incorporating a dual-tone OCC contact implementation with quiet precision.

VaNa is not about chasing detail.
It is about letting go.

A wide, open soundstage unfolds with ease: unforced, immersive, and gently expansive.

Vocals emerge with a soft luminosity: present, yet never demanding.

Bass reaches deep with natural weight: steady, textured, and quietly anchoring the entire presentation.

There is a quiet stillness to VaNa, like standing at the edge of a shadowed lake, where the surface barely moves, yet holds immeasurable depth beneath.

You don’t analyze it.
You let it hold you.

And when the world grows distant again,
VaNa remains.
